Community Radio Exchange has now been implemented into !earshot Distro!
BACKGROUND:
The NCRA/ANREC developed a digital platform for sharing, distribution and promotion of content created by their members for other members to utilize or the public to consume called the Community Radio Exchange.
We have now outgrown the Community Radio Exchange site and needed to be replaced and it has been closed as of July 31st, 2022. We are looking for a way to keep the site as an archive.
WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW:
Community Radio Exchange has now been implemented into !earshot Distro, a private system for campus/community radio stations who are members of the NCRA/ANREC. You will be able to upload your show just like before.
HOW TO REGISTER:
If you are looking to share your syndicated show with community and campus radio stations, now you can do so by joining !earshot distro.
If you are with a radio station they will be able to give you access to the system, if you are an independent programmer you may sign up by filling out a form and we will get back to you shortly.
BENEFITS:
- You can upload your show for stations to access free of charge.
- You will also have the access to download music from the system to use for your show.
REMINDER:
- Shows should be 27-29 or 56-58 minutes in length with NO station ID’s

We put together a manual that breaks down the uploading process along with a training video here.
SYNDICATE AND STATION CONTACT LIST:
The list below is designed to help programmers to syndicate their shows with other stations.
Best Practice: Search the station contact list for those stations who are interested in your type of programming and then contact them by their preferred method listed. Include a link to your show, simply click on your show once it is live and copy the URL and share that along with any other instructions.
Finally, please do not abuse the system, often the staff/volunteers are very busy. DO NOT SEND MUSIC TO THESE STATIONS – THIS IS ONLY FOR FINISHED, SYNDICATED PROGRAMMING – a similar list is available via the Messaging & Outreach button for artists when logged into !earshot Distro
